CENTER GROVE MUSICIANS PERFORM AT SUPERBOWL XLVI

HALFTIME SHOW

45 Center Grove students, alumni, and staff participated in Sunday night's Super Bowl Halftime Show with Madonna. The students rehearsed three times at Center Grove and then Wednesday-Friday from 3-10 PM at Lucas Oil Stadium with Madonna and Cee-Lo Green. The group of 100 drummers was made up of students from Center Grove, Fishers, Avon, and Franklin Central. Percussion Instructor, Josh Torres was asked to assemble this group and manage it in late-November... but it wasn't confirmed until early January. It was obviously a once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone involved. The kids had a blast!

Due to copyright permissions, DVD's or downloads will NOT be sold to the public by ISSMA. Directors are asked to encourage interested students, alumni, parents, and supporters to subscribe to the Fan Network at www.issma.net. Directors that wish to secure synchronization rights to sell or distribute copies of their video must complete the form found under the Copyright tab on the ISSMA website. Directors of Semi-state bands wishing to purchase the single-camera, performance day DVD of your band's·performance for immediate evaluation of the performance, must indicate such on.the entry card. The cost of the DVD is $35. This will be invoiced along with the entry fees, if applicable, after mileage considerations.

Interested in getting some exercise in the morning?

Marty Mills and Tyler Small are currently running Kettlebell Bootcamp training for adults and teens before school. This is a great way for adults to take part in intensive physical training to reach their fitness and health goals. Currently most of our clients are parents of students who play sports. I would like to expand our clients and get more parents involved.
