What does a volunteer do?

Parent and alumni volunteers help the band organization throughout the year by performing various jobs that help band members with their competitions, help raise money for the program or help Center Grove host various activities.  If you have helped, THANK YOU.  If you haven't, please consider helping. The activities are very diverse, are filled with fun and friendly people.  There is truly something for everyone, regardless of abilities.  All we ask of you is to give 10-12 hours of your time during the year to help out. It does not have to be done all at once, but can be broken up into 1 or 2 hours at a time.  You won't regret a moment of the time you invest.

Chaperones

Band camp chaperones and bus chaperones help oversee the movement of students to all off-site competitions and rehearsals.  Please note:

Effective immediately, please be advised that due to liability/insurance reasons, no chaperone is allowed to have additional family members (or friends) ride the bus to/from our band events.  The only exception is if you are a Center Grove school employee.....in that case, your family members are automatically covered.
