CENTER GROVE - SAVE THE ARTS!
In an effort to save money the Center Grove School Board has proposed cuts to the Fine Arts programs throughout the district. These cuts could seriously impact the ability of the schools to provide staff and resources for these classes and related extracurricular programs.
There are two upcoming School Board meetings that will focus on the budget.
Monday, March 8th will be a Board work session specifically designated for reviewing and discussing the budget reduction recommendations from Dr. Lippe.
On Monday, March 15th , the School Board is planning to make their final decision regarding budget reductions. Both of these sessions will be held in the HS Auditorium.
Please take some time to view the highlighted video. It has great messaging about the economic impacts if we lose the arts in our schools.
