Center Grove World Class Winter Guard
| | Celebrating 30 years of competition, the
2011 Center Grove High School Color Guard presented "String Theory."
The members reflected and interpreted the artistry and design of the
violin through the music of John Corigliano. Staff for the 2011 season
included William Chumley, Michael Townsend, George Furlipa, Whitney
Stone, Stephanie Smekens, Jennifer Hinshaw, and Katie Anderson. The
CGCG was awarded 11th place at the WGI World Championships in Dayton,
OH, which marked their 28th consecutive appearance at WGI Finals. This
is the longest stretch of any scholastic color guard in the nation! |
